Report by: Clint's Bait and Tackle
Good day to everyone out there. We will try to let you know all the
information we can. For those who want to know the res is over full
and they are releasing a lot of water. The city lake is full and it looks good.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
crappie--they are catching some pretty nice crappie. They are still in
deep water but they aren't as hard to find now.the crappie are hitting
on minnows, small slab jigs, and some other jigs. But as usual they change from time to
time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
walleye--they are doing pretty good at both lakes. Also they are hit ting
at the outlet at the res. Some are picking up a few nice ones.
They are getting them on jigs, minnows, and crawlers. They are running a lot of water at
the res so have fun.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
bass----they are picking up some real nice ones at both lakes. Also the
farm ponds are producing quite well. Minnows and crawlers are doing
good plus a few jigs of many colors.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
catfish--the channels are very active from all we are told. This at both
lakes and just about any waters you want to fish. In fact last
Sunday we weighed in a 12#9oz channel. The main bait they using is shad sides and guts,
gold fish, livers, and crawlers. They sure do
look good this year.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We are open 7 days a week as usual so you can get bait or tackle just about anytime you
want. And as usual we have the permits and license. For the city lake if you want to go
there. If we are not in the shop just walk across the street and get us, we will be glad to
get you your needs.
