Broken Bow

Lake elevation at normal pool: 602.5  Temperature:  

 Inflow: 5 cfs Outflow: 81 cfs. Level: 0.25 feet high

Largemouth bass good being caught on soft plastics

Catfish fair on jug lines and trot lines using cut shad 

Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in 20 to 25 feet of water around the bridges

Walleye slow using deep running crank baits around the islands and points

Eufaula

Lake elevation at normal pool: 585.0  Temperature:

Inflow: 1575 cfs Outflow: 6144 cfs. Level: 2.66 feet high and murky

Largemouth bass fair using crank baits and plastics in deep points

White bass good on jigs around bridges and culverts.

Blue catfish good on fresh shad in 3 to 8 feet of water in the rocky areas and rip rap.

Crappie fair on minnows or jigs at 8-15 feet of water under the bridges.

Grand Lake

Lake elevation at normal pool: 745.0 Temperature:  78 - 84

Inflow: 6800 cfs Outflow: 13091 cfs. Level: 2.28 feet high

Above Sailboat bridge- dirty
Sailboat bridge to Horse Creek- lightly stained
Horse Creek to the dam- clear

lake level as of 7/14/08 is 747.22 and there is full generation but no flood gates are open.

Bass- Carolina Rigging and the football jig is still catching quality and quantity of fish on main lake and secondary points. The willows are producing good numbers on 10 in. power worm and jigs. Topwater bite is good on buzz baits, spooks and frogs.

Crappie- The crappie are still slow.

Catfish- The drift fishing is great between Sailboat bridge and Monkey Island. The jug liners are having a field day here a Grand Lake. The catches have been good for numbers and size, as for baits anything from perch, shad, and goldfish.

White bass- The White bass have been a little slow, Catch them one day and not the next. Mid-Lake area on jig and spoons 15-25 ft. deep.

Hugo

Lake elevation at normal pool: 404.5 Temperature: 83

Inflow: 250 cfs Outflow: 752 cfs. Level: 2.72 feet high

Crappie fair on minnows in the creek channels

Largemouth Bass fair using minnows in the creek channels

White bass fair trolling crank baits in the river channel.

Catfish good using green sunfish along the river channels

Blue catfish very good using worms and shad in the tail waters

Kaw

Lake elevation at normal pool: 1008.3 Temperature: 85 and murky 

Inflow: 1750 cfs Outflow: 7298 cfs. Level: 18.30 feet high

The only boat ramps currently open are Bear Creek, Burbank and Pioneer due to the high water

Blue catfish good using worms from Coon Creek to Traders Bend

Walleye fair on 1/16oz  chartreuse and yellow roadrunners in Little Beaver Creek

Paddlefish snagging very slow below the 1000 feet mark of Kaw Dam

White bass good using spinner baits and sassy shad below the dam

Crappie fair using minnows and jigs in 12 to 15 feet of water in the  flooded brush and timber

Largemouth Bass good in Little Beaver Creek and Five Fingers Cove using jerk baits

Keystone

Lake elevation at normal pool: 723.0 Temperature: 

Inflow: 10100 cfs Outflow:24376 cfs. Level: 7.03 feet high murky and muddy

Largemouth bass slow using crank baits and spinner baits in 3 to 6 feet of water in the backs of coves and creeks

Smallmouth bass slow on chartreuse jerk baits and jigs at6 to 12 feet of water in Salt Creek

Spotted bass fair on spinner baits and small crank baits at 3 to 6 feet of water around the bluffs 

White bass fair on minnows and jigs in 4 to 8 feet of water below the dam and in the creeks

Striped bass good on buck tails and shad at 3 to  8 feet of water below dam 

Channel catfish good on liver and worms in 4 to 8 feet of water in the creeks and shallow coves

Blue catfish good on cut shad and worms in 4 to 8 feet of water around the bluffs and rip rap

Flathead catfish good using goldfish in 6 to 10 feet of water around the bluffs

Crappie slow on minnows and chartreuse jigs at 4 to 6 feet of water below the dam

Lake elevation at normal pool: 638.0 Temperature:  80's 

Inflow: 9960 cfs Outflow: 10193 cfs. Level: 7.71 feet high and murky

Note: Reminder that the limit on White Bass is 20 per person from the Caney River south of Oologah Dam, north throughout the lake and all its tributaries to the Kansas state line.

Crappie slow using 1/16 oz jigs in 30 feet of water around the brush .
